Heavy heart

I have such a heavy heart.

I am normally SO excited for Christmas, as for me its a religious holiday or important significance and I am able to see my family and friends and celebrate together.

This year, between Juan, Popi, and the tragedies that seem to surround us, I am finding it extremely difficult to feel joyful.

Thank you Mich and Jéanne for sending me holiday cards, they really brightened my week.

Please send lots of prayers and good thoughts around the world to everyone who is suffering for whatever reason.  Whether it is physical or mental illness (or a combination of both), losing a loved one, poverty, or any of the other causes of great despair, we all carry heavy burdens.  Send love into the world, ok?  Do what you can to make someone else's day or week or year just a little bit easier.

The holidays can be so difficult when loved ones are missing. I hurt for you. My grandma is missed horribly every holiday...she just brightened the room. Now I really try to focus on those loved ones who are still with us and cherish the time we have together.

Sending many e-hugs your way.

I will try to do that.

Love you so much Dese. I wish there was something I could do or say to make you feel a bit better, but only time and love can do that with such things as you have endured this year.

Love you so so much <3
